Job Description
We are recruiting for Front End Developer's to join our Engineering team! As one of our Developers you will support the design and continuous improvement of new and existing technical products and services. You will play a key part in building our technical landscape for now and for the future to help us become a world class digital insurer.
What you'll be doing:
- Be a part of a squad who are shaping and building esure's future products and services
- With a customer centric approach, design and build revolutionary digital and technical products
- Support in defining the technical direction for products and services
- Work on green field development projects from the ground ip building internal and externally facing API's
- Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment
- Strive to constantly improve the team's ways of working by keep up with new technology trends, best practices and opportunities for the removal of technical debt
- Share knowledge within the team whilst embracing and sharing ideas with like-minded others
Qualifications
We'd Love You to Bring:
- Front End Developer with experience working in a scaled Agile environment
- Front End technical stack experience including React, Node and JavaScript
- An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Knowledge and experience of code quality practices such as continuous integration, unit testing and peer reviews
- Experience in design and development of distributed, scalable, and highly available systems
