We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk within the finance department based in the Hyde area of Stockport. You would be working for a forward thinking, creative, establish textile company. This role is Permanent, full time, offering a salary of GBP27,329 per annum. The right candidate will take full responsibility for the full purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.
What you will be doing as a Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- Matching, checking and coding invoices and delivery notes
- Processing of supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Work out VAT payments
- Process invoices on a credits within a paperless office environment
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Making payments via BACS
- Processing staff expenses, whilst being the first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of working within a team
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills - Excel proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi task
- Strong communication skills
- Pro-active
- Able to work unsupervised using own initiative
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience and working with an ERP system
