Your efforts will focus on client targeting, product-specific business development, and enhancing the internal and external profile of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners and associates on business development and marketing strategies.
- Develop and execute business development initiatives to target new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Lead the team in raising the practice's profile both within the firm and externally.
- Oversee product-specific business development efforts, ensuring alignment with overall firm strategy.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Take proactive ownership of projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Current senior manager level in a law firm, ideally with a background in disputes or a transferable practice area.
- Leadership: Proven experience in developing and leading teams focusing on business development.
- Skills: Confident in advising at partner level, resilient, tenacious, and proactive.
- Management: Excellent people management skills, strongly emphasising team development and mentorship.
- Work Style: Robust and adaptable, thriving in a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in the office.
