At Tradewind Recruitment, we're seeking recent graduates interested in gaining valuable experience in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Schools. Our client schools in Shrewsbury are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students.
- Work closely with class teachers, fellow teaching assistants, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals.
- Help maintain a positive learning environment and assist with behaviour management in both classroom and school-wide settings.
Requirements:
- A degree in an education-related field.
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
