I am pleased to be supporting this well established and successful blue chip business to recruit a Finance Systems & Data Manager.
Our client has a track record as a market leader and has grown consistently over recent years. As part of a major transformation programme, this newly created role is required to lead on all aspects of finance systems and data migration / control.
As Finance Systems & Data Manager, you will drive finance best practice, following the implementation of a major ERP system, across finance systems, integration, master data and access management.
This role will be the interface between IT, as system owner, and Finance as end user, while being an integral part of the overall Finance Excellence Programme.
The focus for this position will be on the deign and documentation of:
- Finance data governance standards, system integration, access management.
- SAP S4 user support.
- Service level metrics.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Custodian of finance master data.
- System Support.
- User access provisioning.
- Close routine - batch job scheduling, integration, ledger close.
- Continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with extensive track record at a leadership level, for finance systems integration, master data governance and data management.
While this is a senior role, it is also hands-on and highly autonomous, so a self starter is required, comfortable interacting at all levels of a business up to C-level.
Demonstrable evidence of integrating a major ERP such as SAP or Oracle is highly desirable, for example from within a large shared services environment. A SAP FICO or data governance qualifications would also be of high value.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be able to commute to sites in the Midlands and North West when required.
