We're looking for an Enterprise Head of PMO to join an industry leading organisation that are going through a period of growth due to continued success!

This is a new hire to help the organisation further mature their Change function, taking ownership over all elements of their Enterprise Project Management Office.

The Head of ePMO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the governance and execution of enterprise-wide projects and programs. This role requires a visionary individual who can align project outcomes with our business goals, ensure consistency in project management practices, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Define and drive the strategic direction of the ePMO, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence in project management.
  • Further educate and bring the rest of the business on board with your vision and strategy.
  • Governance: Establish and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Resource Management: Optimise the allocation of resources across projects, balancing workload and ensuring the right skills are applied where needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with senior leadership, ensuring transparency and effective decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, ensuring proactive management of potential issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of process improvements, leveraging industry best practices to enhance project delivery.
  • Mentorship & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive accountability across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real, tangible difference in an autonomous role. We're looking for someone who has experience in industries similar to Logistics, Construction, Manufactoring Engineering etc rather than Financial Services, Legal etc.

This is a flexible hybrid role where you'll be home based travelling to sites as needed, mainly Manchester or Leeds.
