We are seeking a capable and trustworthy Science Teacher to join our excellent faculty. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping young minds, fostering curiosity, and inspiring a love for scientific inquiry within a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Design and deliver quality lesson plans and curricula that adhere to national and school guidelines.
Conduct assessments, provide feedback to students, and communicate progress to parents and colleagues.
Manage classroom, lab, and field trip rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Facilitate demonstrations and assist students during experiments.
Offer additional resources and support to students in need.
Handle administrative tasks including grading papers, updating records, and ensuring all field trip permissions are in order.
Create an inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and inquiry.
Contribute to the recruitment and training of new faculty members.
Engage in school activities and maintain regular communication with parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Science or a related discipline.
Relevant teaching certification or license.
Proficiency with MS Office, Google Classroom, and educational software.
Dedication, patience, and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
A strong passion for Science and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
