About the Role:
A leading law firm with offices across East Anglia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to take the next step in their career within a supportive and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, trust disputes, and estate administration issues.
- Providing expert legal advice to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Working closely with clients to resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as appropriate.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's private client department and other teams to provide comprehensive legal support.
- Keeping up to date with changes in probate law and relevant legislation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in contentious probate matters.
- Strong technical knowledge of contentious probate law and related procedures.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- A proactive and commercial approach to resolving disputes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Willingness to travel to different offices across East Anglia as required.
