About the Role:
A leading law firm with offices across East Anglia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to take the next step in their career within a supportive and dynamic environment. The role offers the flexibility to be based in one of the firm's several offices across the region, with opportunities for hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, trust disputes, and estate administration issues.
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Working closely with clients to resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation as appropriate.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's private client department and other teams to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in probate law and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in contentious probate matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of contentious probate law and related procedures.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • A proactive and commercial approach to resolving disputes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different offices across East Anglia as required.
