Description

The role of Inventory Controller in Coventry will involve:

  • Performing critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
  • Processing and dispatching all returns in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with third-party hauliers.
  • Troubleshooting quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
  • Developing and implementing improvements to existing operational procedures.
  • Liaising with customers and engineers.
  • Prepare analysis on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Monitoring budgets and processing invoices/credit notes.

A successful Inventory Controller should have:

  • A keen understanding of stock management and logistics processes.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, ideally a good knowledge of Excel and SAP.
