Hours: Flexible. Full time and part time hours available.

Salary: Salary banding begins at £27,000. Pay is competitive and is subject to the Assessors skills, qualities and experience.

PP Associates are an established recruitment business who specialise in supporting Health and Social Care/Education organisations across the UK.

We are actively seeking a Level 3 Residential Childcare Assessor to work in an established company that provides care and support for children and young people in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The company are committed to the CPD and training of all their staff.

The company is looking for a qualified assessor to support identified members of their team to successfully complete the qualification Residential Childcare at Level 3.

A key part of the role will be to manage a caseload of learners and conduct remote and face to face observations to gather evidence towards their level 3 qualification.

The company is based in Salford.

Duties;

  • Support learners working towards qualifications in Residential Childcare Level 3.
  • Managing your time effectively and your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain online documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
  • Attend assessor standardisation
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies as required to support the overview goals of the company and the learners.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold Assessor Award, CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working within a childcare residential setting and be qualified to Level 5 in children and young people's awards.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and quality assurance
  • Must have a proficient level of ICT skills and understanding of e-portfolios
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player
