We are seeking a Music Production Lecturer with a passion for teaching and a strong background in music production and theory. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using industry-standard software such as Logic, Ableton, and ProTools. This role involves not only practical music production but also the delivery of coursework, requiring excellent teaching and classroom management skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures on music production and theory.
  • Guide students through the use of music production software including Logic, Ableton, and ProTools.
  • Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop and manage coursework materials and ensure all sessions contribute to the overall learning objectives.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, applying effective crowd control and teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
  • Stay current with developments in music production, pedagogy, and educational technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in music production and music theory.
  • Proficiency in music production software such as Logic, Ableton, and ProTools.
  • Proven teaching experience with strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver coursework that meets learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Music, Music Production, or a related field is highly desirable.
