Job Title: Benefits Officer
Job description: Venn Group are working on behalf of an organisation based in the South West to recruit a Benefits Officer. The contract will run up until the end of 2024.
Duties:
- Being responsible for the assessment of all Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims at the Council
- Assessing complex claims including students, self-employed, private landlords, private tenants and persons from abroad
- Notifying claimants regarding overpayments
- Processing new claims, change of circumstances and change of address
- Being responsible for all tenure types including local authority, private LHA, housing association, hostels and boarders
Candidate must have experience using NEC.
Daily Rate: £20 - £25 per hour
