We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our clients dynamic team in Suffolk. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, an understanding of technical drawings, and a passion for leading projects to success. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our engineering projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of project management from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to guide project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns.
  • Implement PRINCE2 methodologies to ensure best practices in project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Project Management (PRINCE2 certification).
  • Proven experience in a similar Project Manager role, ideally within the engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional customer-facing skills, with a track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
