Our client are responsible for some of the most recognisable brands in the drinks industry. In the UK they operate as an end-to-end business unit responsible for sales through to supply.
Description
In the role of Distribution Manager you will be responsible for the warehouse and distribution functions ensuring all services are delivered within agreed KPIs (e.g., OTIF, SLA's, budgets etc). You will be responsible for the managing, coaching, and developing direct reports as well as implementing strategic improvements to deliver efficiencies and improved performance across UK's distribution sites.
Profile
Candidates wishing to be considered will require strong experience in Distribution and Warehousing Management. We would also like to hear from candidates with strong academics and / or relevant Logistics qualifications. You will have a proven track record of delivering operational improvements and efficiencies and sharing these across multiple sites, ideally within a FMCG business. You will understand strategic planning and digital innovation across transport functions. Strong leadership and the ability to engage a team, including other managers is vital for success in the role. You will have experience of budget ownership and delivering against said budget and be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering and exceeding KPI targets across multiple sites.
