SEN Teaching Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the learning and development of pupils with Autism and other special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
- Create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and independence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children and young people with Autism.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS certificate.
