Land Manager for Renewable Energy Development

Salary range dependent on candidate's level of experience - up to £85,000
Piper Maddox is currently working with one of the most exciting developers of sustainable energy in the UK to add a new Land Manager to their team. Having been founded close to 15 years ago by some of the most experienced investment partners - this company thrives on innovation and new ideas on business strategy.
Their primary focus is on solar, and wind development, but they also have multiple ongoing joint ventures across Agri-tech, and Bio Energy. Within their team they have dedicated directors/functions across development, legal, and energy supply/trading. This opportunity would give you the chance to work across the forefront of sustainable developments within a highly stable business environment.
Their team in the UK covers project financing, project development, engineering, and asset management. They have a very strong EPC partnership who are responsible for building out their project plans. You would be able to see projects from initial inception, all the way through to operation.
Your role would include:
- Leading on land acquisition and lease strategy for renewable energy projects from initial landowner engagement through to completion.
- Maintaining landowner relationships on existing projects as well as curating strong landowner relationships in new project opportunities.
- Work alongside their in-house legal teams on commercial negotiations relating to land acquisition - HoTs, LOAs, Easements, Wayleaves etc.
- Liaise with the wider team and external planning consultants when it comes to moving projects into the planning phase.
