Junior Accounts Assistant - About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the finance team leader and will be working within a finance team of 10. You will be working alongside 3 other Accounts Assistants and will be covering various areas of accounts.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Resolving purchase ledger queries by closely liaising with suppliers
- Transfer CSV data issues from location and reconciliation of all purchase ledger statements
- Input bank receipts, ensuring they are reconciled to customers' remittance advice
- Raising credit notes as authorised by senior finance
- Input and reconciliation of petty cash and monthly reconciliation of cash books
- Responding to suppliers' queries by phone/email.
- Supporting with any other general accounting duties as requested
The successful Junior Accounts Assistant will have:
- A strong desire to start a career in accounting/finance
- Good GCSE/A level results
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
