Description
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments
- Perform credit checks and approve new accounts
- Handle invoicing and account reconciliations
- Monitor and minimise bad debts
- Provide accurate reports on accounts receivable
- Coordinate with the accounting & finance department on financial planning
- Manage relationships with customers and handle any disputes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proven experience in credit control or a related role in accounting & finance
- Excellent knowledge of invoicing and payment processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritise tasks
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
