Reed Accountancy are thrilled to be working with a growing organisation who are seeking a driven individual to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. The role will offer hybrid working with 1 day to work from home initially which after probation will be reviewed and likely increased. The salary on offer is in the region of £40,000 - £45,000, with 25 days annual + bank holidays.

Job responsibilities:
- Production of the month end management accounts for 3 reporting divisions, including variance analysis.
- Weekly cashflow forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Posting of journals (accruals prepayments, accrued income etc)
- Expenses review and processing
- Completion of VAT returns
- Stock journal postings, month end reconciliations, support and oversee periodic stock takes
- Support the completion of finance related projects and process improvements
- Produce reports and data analysis as required by the business
- Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Work closely with the Finance Manager on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queries
- Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function
- Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Person specification
- Keen to study towards ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualifications (desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Great team player
