A tremendous opportunity to come and join this well-respected and long-established independent central Kent firm of accountants as an accounts senior.
The firm represent a broad mix of clients ranging from the small sole trader right through to some fairly complex group OMB's.
They primarily represent clients in Kent although their reach extends to London and across the south-east.
Key day to day duties to include:
- Annual accounts and corporation tax preparation (to completion)
- Involvement in audits preferred but not essential.
- VAT returns
- Company Secretarial (Annual Statements, changes, documentation)
- Knowledge of current accounting packages
- Knowledge of IRIS (not essential if alternative)
- Some knowledge of VAT/returns
- Some knowledge of Payroll
- Experience of salary/dividend planning
- Some knowledge of Income Tax Returns
- Assisting clients on management accounts/bookkeeping/reviews
- Experience of non-company accounts
- HMR&C/ROC filing experience.
