Care Assistant / Support Worker - Crawley Area
My client an award-winning privately owned care company support young adults with neurological disorders and learning disabilities in the local community. Their goal is to support young adults in the local community to have a happy and valuable life experience... and for the team to have passion for the work they do. Due to extra workload, we are looking for a Support Worker / Care Assistant to join their team based around Crawley.
In this position, you will support one of the clients, enabling them to reclaim their lives, promote their independence, supporting them to develop and achieve their goals and empower them to plan for their future. All the clients supported have individual personalities and skillsets albeit with a range of neurological disorders and complex needs, you will support them with a wide range of activities on a daily basis rather than the traditional task focused care service other providers offer. (full training will be provided)
This is not a role where you will have to visit multiple clients in a day, the company offer a wraparound service that enables you to get to know your client and make a real difference to their lives, this includes supporting them securing their first jobs, moving in to their own homes, making friends and much much more...
We are seeking an individual with:
- A fun and happy outlook on life.
- Previous experience in care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to provide care with compassion and empathy.
- Have the right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
To be successful you need to be based close to Crawley, West Sussex, hold a full and valid UK or EU/EAA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle the service users are based locally however you may need to use your car to help them attend appointments.

Starting rate £12.75 per hour
