National Pricing Manager

Right Now Group are looking for a National Pricing Manager to join our Client in the Heathrow Area.

The National Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective pricing strategies. This role involves analysing market conditions, competitor pricing, and cost structures to ensure the pricing remains competitive. Working closely with sales, operations, and other key stakeholders, the National Pricing Manager will drive pricing initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities of a National Pricing Manager:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with company goals, market conditions, and customer expectations.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse pricing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Analyse cost structures associated with Air, LCL, FCL, and Courier services to ensure competitiveness while covering costs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting pricing decisions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to balance pricing decisions with targets, including volume discounts and negotiations.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals to potential and existing clients, supported by insights from product managers.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Evaluate pricing strategy effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of pricing agreements and related documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing performance for organizational review.
  • Continuously enhance pricing processes, tools, and workflows for improved efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Requirements for National Pricing Manager:

  • Proven experience in Freight Forwarding pricing or a related field, with a solid understanding of supply chain and transportation logistics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and pricing modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Familiarity with CargoWise One, WebCargo, Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service, Global Price Management (GPM), and Power BI.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Collaborative team player with strong influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Product teams.
  • Strategic thinking to align pricing with business objectives.
  • Financial acumen to analyze cost structures and profitability.
  • Market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience)
Bonuses: Car Allowance + Company Bonuses (to be discussed with the Recruitment Consultant)
