Job Title: Warehouse/ Machine Operative - Rotational Weekly Shifts
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Shifts: Alternative Weekly Shifts - 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM - 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and 10 PM-6 AM Monday to Friday
Pay: £11.44-£12.60 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities and machines within the warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting, picking, packing, and performing general warehouse duties according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain the machines.
Run the machines after full training given and ensure they are all in working order and running accordingly.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift medium/heavy objects.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work alternative weekly shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
