What You Will Do:
- Assist in preparing accurate VAT/government returns, balance sheet reconciliations, and reports for statutory entities.
- Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ERP period close processes, control account reconciliations, and currency revaluations.
- Conduct reconciliation of month-end intercompany balances.
- Prepare monthly VAT and European tax submissions for the UK, France, Spain, and the Netherlands.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and releases from group balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and submit annual group PAYE settlement liability and other government compliance forms.
What You Will Bring:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Part Qualified.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, including double entry and VAT principles.
- Excellent numerical ability and experience in reconciliation work.
- Proficiency in using integrated ERP systems and a good grasp of information technology.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
