Entry Level Geo-Environmental Engineer (Newcastle upon Tyne)

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000.
This geo-environmental consultancy, specialising in Phase I Desktop Studies and Phase II Site Investigation & Risk Assessments are seeking a Graduate Soil Scientist to join the team. They're seeking a recent environmental science, countryside management, earth sciences, physical geography or geology graduate to join their specialist team on a range of projects across the North East.
The Entry Level Geo-Environmental Engineer selected for the position will work on a variety of ground investigation projects, to familiarise with different challenges and sites. You'll be contributing to the supervision of ground investigations, Phase 1 Desk studies, carrying out risk assessments, writing factual and interpretive reports and collecting soil, gas and groundwater samples for analysis.
The successful Entry Level Geo-Environmental Engineer will therefore:
- Have a degree in geology, countryside management, earth sciences, environmental science, geography or a heavily soil focussed subject.
- Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
- Be commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne.
- Willing to travel to sites and work in office.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
