AM2 Centre Lead Assessor

An exciting unique opportunity exists for a talented and experienced AM2 Centre Lead Assessor to join the City of Liverpool College and play a leading role in realising our vision of being one of the top five colleges in the UK, renowned for its work with employers and the impact on economic growth.

Working in our purpose built, AM2 Centre based at our Vauxhall Road campus in Liverpool where candidates can unleash their full potential and be creative through hands-on Assessments, you will have the ability to develop, prepare and maintain a safe and secure induction and Assessment programme that maximises occupancy of the AM2 Centre.

As Lead Assessor you will be responsible for the NET coordination and Assessment within the AM2 centre.

The prospective candidate must have;

  • Up to date AM2 NET Assessment training with knowledge of procedures and licencing requirements
  • An Electro-technical Level 3 NVQ and industry experience
  • A current first aid qualification
  • A current JIB gold card
  • Current assessor qualifications
  • the latest IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or willing to update.
  • Knowledge of NETs marking/management system.

The AM2 centre is operated as an independent arm of a leading and long-established Construction & Building Services School that offers high quality courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 in Construction Craft and Building Services. Additionally, we support local and national employers with short assessment courses such as the ACS, 18TH Edition Regulations, Unvented, Water Regulations, AM2, AM2S, AM2E, AM2SN Assessments. The central focus of our portfolio of courses/Assessments is to ensure our students gain the practical skills and expertise that are necessary to forge a path of employment in the Construction and Building Service industries. In order to facilitate this, we have a dedicated team of experienced and outstanding Assessors and lecturers with an excellent working knowledge of Construction and Building Services.
