Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business in the Scunthorpe area to recruit an Interim Accountant to join their finance team.
This role will support with the BAU finance activities, whilst the business go through a new accounting system implementation. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Monthly profit and loss reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Oversight and maintenance of ledgers (nominal, receivable, payable)
- Monthly reporting and analysis of aged inventory.
- Overhead analysis – Actual vs Budget reporting on a departmental level.
- Capex reporting and maintenance – Ensuring relevant project paperwork is complete
- and projects are capitalized upon completion, group reports are completed in a timely
- and accurate manner.
- Monitor and control intercompany recharges and reconciliations
- Processing of expenses, credit cards etc
- Preparation and processing of supplier payment runs
- Submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Quarterly Stock Counts
- Other adhoc duties as required
To be successfully considered, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Ideally Part or Fully AAT / CIMA / ACCA qualified
- Experience working within a broad accounting role
- Proven time management and attention to detail skills
- Accounting software experience - ideally SAP
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
