Interim Management Accountant £200-250 per day Petersfield - Hybrid (2 days in office per week)

This organisation is growing steadily and needs additional resource within finance to support their further growth. Additionally, one of the current accountants is on long-term leave, creating a large gap in the function.
The Role
This is a hands-on Management Accountant role, reporting directly to a supportive Financial Controller. The role will involve the following:
- Supporting month-end close activities
- Assisting with management accounting for the charity
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Posting VAT returns
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders
- Supporting AP and AR processing when workloads require
- Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations
- Reviewing and processing payment runs
- Providing ad hoc support to payroll
Your Profile
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join a great team. You'll need a good grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and related accounting/reconciliations. There is also extensive interaction with the wider business, so being a people person is essential!
This role would suit someone with prior experience in month-end accounting tasks in small to medium-sized businesses, where you need to roll up your sleeves and help team members across a wide variety of accounting tasks. Having experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector will be beneficial.
Salary & Benefits
£200-250 per day. The business operates a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office. The office has parking on-site and is also a short walk from Petersfield Station.
