St Michaels Court, in Aylsham, are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant.

St Michael's Court is an 88 bed care home situated in the new and innovative 'St Michael's Care Complex', near the market town of Aylsham. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia or in need of general nursing. In addition, the home is nestled in beautiful rural surroundings, with the advantage of all the amenities available in the care complex.

As a Care Assistant with Runwood Homes, you will help residents enjoy each day and ensure they receive the highest quality care that they deserve. You will assist with discreet personal care and enjoy daily life together within a safe, clean, and homely setting, providing support, reassurance, and companionship. You will go on a shift pattern which will include working alternate weekends. There is the option to work between 24 and 48 hours per week.

About you:

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided, your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through. Holding an NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Health and Social Care would be advantageous or a willingness to work towards this. We are able to support you in obtaining this qualification on a fully funded apprenticeship supplied by external providers.

You will have excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude and the compassion required to deliver the highest standard of person cantered care.
