We are looking for a mainstream primary school teacher in central Sheffield who is willing to provide PPA cover across the whole school from reception up to Year 6. The school is based out of Leeds area into a full time position. Part time options are also available.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive and well-organised classroom environment.
  • Assess child's academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Tailor teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Establish and enforce classroom rules and behaviour expectations.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians.
  • Manage classroom resources and materials effectively.
  • Provide additional support for students with special educational needs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with other Year 3 teachers and school staff.
  • Participate in or lead extracurricular activities or school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Show a profound passion for teaching and nurturing child's curiosity.
  • Have previous teaching experience.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS check or be prepared to obtain one through Randstad.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills, adept at guiding and supporting students with varying learning capabilities during lessons.
  • Exhibit notable patience and efficient time management skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication abilities, fostering productive relationships with students, support staff, and parents or guardians.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
