We are currently working with a reputable and academic secondary school in Brent who are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Design and Technology Teacher to join their well-established DT Department from September 2024.
The role
As the successful Design and Technology Teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons to empower every student to reach their full potential in Design and Technology. You will also be able to create a positive environment and fostering enthusiasm within the classroom to promote a vibrant culture throughout the Design and Technology subjects. The department is equipped with high standard DT rooms and offers a dynamic and welcoming teaching environment. The position would be ideal for a qualified and experienced teacher who can teach DT across the Secondary age range.
The successful DT Teacher
The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils' success and therefore you must have the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Have relevant Design and Technology teaching experience
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion and enthusiasm for teaching and student success
- Capability of ensuring pupils safety
