A rapidly expanding mortgage firm renowned for its exceptional customer service, is seeking an experienced Protection Advisor to join their growing team.
This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead the protection sales within the firm, working closely with mortgage advisors to ensure clients have comprehensive coverage that complements their mortgage products.
**Self Employed Protection Advisor Package:
- Location: Remote
- Leads: 40% Provided, 60% Self-Generated

**Self Employed Protection Advisor Key Responsibilities:
- Protection Advisory: Provide tailored protection advice to clients, focusing on life insurance, income protection, critical illness cover, and other relevant products.
- Lead Management: Work closely with mortgage advisors to receive referrals, while also generating and managing self-sourced leads.
- Client Engagement: Educate clients on the importance of protection products, particularly first-time buyers and those with residential mortgages.
- Sales Conversion: Convert a high volume of leads into protection policies, leveraging both provided leads and those you generate.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage advisors to create a seamless referral process and ensure clients' protection needs are met.
- Business Development: Proactively seek out new opportunities for protection sales, including networking and developing new business partnerships.
- Compliance: Ensure all protection advice and sales are compliant with current regulations and industry standards.
Self Employed Protection Advisor Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Protection Advisor or in a similar role within financial services.
- Qualifications: Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., RO5, CeMAP) preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in converting leads into protection policies, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to generate and manage self-sourced leads effectively.
- Customer Focused: Passionate about educating clients on the importance of protection and delivering tailored solutions.
