Located in Bushey, close to Watford, this exceptional independent school is looking to appoint 6 graduates who will work as Teaching Assistants throughout the 24/25 academic year while being assessed to join the school's teacher training programme for the following year.
As an independent school that teaches children from their pre-school years through to post 16, but in classes that are a maximum of 20 this is a great place to learn and work. The school looks to teach holistically and although academic excellence is developed all areas of a student's development are considered to help create well rounded individuals ready for the challenges of university and further education.
The school has a well-established teacher training path that many have followed to gaining QTS over the years beginning with a year as a TA before embarking a PGCE and QTS via the School Direct programme.
Role requirements:
- Open to all degree holders (minimum 2:2) and string A-Levels or equivalent
- All degree subjects accepted but secondary subject must match degree
- Initial 1 academic year as a Teaching Assistant and then teacher training from September 2025 - £90 per day
- Salaried & non-salaried training routes available in both Primary and Secondary - UQT 1 salary is currently
