Join our expanding team at a co-educational, independent specialist day school. We are seeking a compassionate and inspiring PSHE Teacher to deliver high-quality education to secondary-aged students with special educational needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver outstanding and engaging PSHE lessons to students with diverse educational needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Plan and execute lessons that cater to various learning styles and meet Ofsted requirements.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and a strong desire to learn.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance educational practices and student learning experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching PSHE at the secondary level.
  • Strong understanding of child safeguarding principles.
  • Experience working with students who have challenging behaviour or SEMH.
  • Ability to deliver subject specialism up to GCSE level.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to create engaging and effective lessons.
