Head Veterinary Nurse - Up to £40,000 - Clapham

Our partnered clinic is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing top-notch care for small animals. Renowned for its exceptional veterinary services, this clinic is equipped with the latest technology and staffed by a passionate team of professionals. As a Veterinary Nurse within this clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care and ensuring the well-being of beloved pets.

Hours per Week / Shift Pattern: Fulfilling 40 hours, with a choice between 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts, including 1/3 weekends, and open from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and coordinating the veterinary nursing team.
  • Assisting and collaborating with veterinarians during medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Extending compassionate care and support to beloved pets and their owners.
  • Skillfully administering medications and treatments under the guidance of the veterinary team.
  • Facilitating diagnostic procedures while maintaining meticulous medical records.
  • Upholding the clinic's standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensuring the clinic operates seamlessly, accompanied by exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential qualification as a qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a genuine passion for animal care.
  • Proficiency in teamwork as well as the ability to work autonomously.
  • A dedicated commitment to continuous professional development.
