Office Manager - Property Sales

Artistry Property Agents of Bedford is looking for an articulate, organised, and personable Office Manager to join our team. We are an independent Estate Agency with a reputation for selling some of the most unique homes in the area and this is key role within our business.

You'll have responsibility for managing the diary, progressing property sales and other administration tasks, to ensure the smooth running of our office. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for people phoning, emailing and visiting the office
  • Booking viewings, market appraisals, photographer and writer visits, ensuring efficient diary management
  • Being alert to new market appraisal and viewing opportunities to help grow the business
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Progressing property sales - providing status updates to buyers, sellers and other estate agents
  • Ordering stationary, property brochures, board movements etc.
  • Obtaining viewer feedback and passing it on to our sellers, providing offer forms where appropriate
  • Arranging sold in your area mailings
  • Ensuring the office and its frontage are well presented at all times
  • Updating our monthly e-newsletter database
  • Updating monthly sales and valuation reports
  • Accounts reconcilliation on Quickbooks / Sending and paying invoices
  • Dealing with compliance matters
  • Other jobs as the business requires from time to time

The successful candidate will have:

  • at least 5 years relevant work experience in a busy office environment
  • strong organisation and communication skills / ability to remain calm under pressure
  • attention to detail
  • integrity and a professional approach
  • good computer skills
  • the ability to work independently and self-prioritise workload

Salary

£30,000 - £35,000 (basic salary of up to £30,000 plus bonuses, depending on experience)

You'll be based at our offices on St Peter's Street, Bedford, MK40 2NN. Our office hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, although this role will mainly be a Monday to Friday position.
