Role Overview:
Provision of administrative support for the Driver Assessment department which supports the processes for the Knowledge of London (KOL) and Topographical Skills Assessment.
Support activities include KOL and private hire driver candidate liaison and diary management. Other activities include processing results, telephone call handling, email management and maintaining the Taxi and Private Hire (TPH) licensing database (TOLA) for KOL and private hire driver candidates.
Key Accountabilities:
- To facilitate KOL and private hire driver candidates on a daily basis when attending for appearances, written examinations and assessments ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. This includes the taking of payments from both KOL and private hire candidates
- To facilitate the management of TPH records on the TOLA database including KOL examination results, KOL appearance allocation, appearance scores and extensions to study.
- To book, send confirmation or make alternative arrangements for candidates attending KOL inductions, compulsory assessments, written examinations, appearances and Topographical Skills Assessments.
- To manage email correspondence on a daily basis and to deal with incoming telephone calls relating to KOL and Driver Assessment enquiries.
- To accurately complete the KOL and private hire driver banking on a daily basis and timely submit to the TPH Business Support Team for reconciliation
- To support the day-to-day operation of the team of Topographical Assessors and other stakeholders
