Interim Marketing Consultant

6-12 month on an Interim or Contract basis

Hybrid - West Yorkshire Based with 2 days office based each week

Superb Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Bonus

Our client is experiencing strong strategic growth and because of this, they are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Consultant to work on an interim or contract basis for 6-12 months, during a critical period of growth. Reporting into and working closely with the CEO of this multi site business, you will focus on brand strategy and position. We are looking for a candidate who has worked at Head of Marketing level or Marketing Management level within Retail Operations, Construction/Property, Retail Management or Facilities.

You will have involvement with:

  • Devising a new marketing and brand strategy, focusing on market positioning and business growth
  • You will plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns - digital and traditional to drive lead generation and support client engagement
  • Focusing on improving marketing assets assessing credentials, service propositions and all market collateral to meet company goals
  • Collaborating internally with division leaders to build and execute go-to-market strategies aligning with service offerings and market position
  • Focusing on brand management, enhancing brand presence in the market, ensuring consistency across all platforms and communications
  • Overseeing the creation of high quality content, including case studies, thought leadership articles, and social media posts that showcase the businesses expertise and market position
  • Extensive stakeholder management with internal teams, working closely with the Sales & Business Development function to ensure alignment and company objectives are achieved
  • You will manage digital channels including website, social media and email campaigns and explore new platforms to assess further success
  • Market analysis to assess and understand industry trends, competitors, customer needs, using this insight within marketing strategies
  • Management of the marketing budget, ensuring strong and cost effective delivery of marketing activities and campaigns

What we need for this role:

  • Previous experience within a Head of Marketing or strategic Marketing management role - 5 years plus
  • Experience within Retail Ops, Store Management, Property/Construction or Facilities - B2B is essential. Trend knowledge within retail would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of digital campaigns, content creation and brand management
  • You will be experienced in delivering marketing assets such as propositions, go-to-market strategies and divisional credentials
  • Your focus will be on growth and market position, continually assessing opportunities to drive new business
  • Focused, tenacious and high energy individual to bring new ideas and communicate these business wide
  • An exceptional communicator to work cross-functionally
  • Budget management experience, used to sourcing and working with external suppliers and agencies
  • Flexible and adaptable, used to a fast paced working environment
