Our Client, a market leading

Toyota

dealership group are currently looking for a

Parts Supervisor

to join the business based out of their

Bromley

Dealership. This role offers a team and individual bonus, as well as excellent development opportunities.

You will be required to provide accurate estimates for parts, ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved and setting expectations accordingly. You will help manage our clients current stock levels, as well as helping source parts for their customers or themselves.

This role would be ideal for an experienced

Parts Advisor

looking to take the next step in their career, or a

Parts Supervisor

wanting to grow their OTE and knowledge of Hybrid technology.

About the Parts Supervisor

Role

  • Updating customers about back-ordered parts and late deliveries
  • Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money
  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
  • Design local promotions, negotiating with local suppliers to achieve the best possible terms and monitors results accordingly
  • Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to look up parts and quote prices for parts using proper catalogue for vehicles
  • Parts returns to Toyota and Lexus
  • Supervise the team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the skills and behaviours associated with the Toyota Experience and Toyota's Brand Values
  • Ensure that the Parts team work closely with colleagues in Sales, Service and Administration to deliver excellent customer service
  • Speak to customers over the phone, F2F and by email
  • Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously on an inbound and outbound basis
  • Act as a full member of the dealership's management team to take the business forward
  • Plan and manage parts and accessory stock levels to meet customer requirements and minimise cost
  • Ensure non-current stock is promoted to build sales or returned within the 20 day period to minimise levels of non-current stock
  • Manage stock visibility to ensure all necessary personnel have accurate information on availability and price
  • Negotiate with non-franchise parts suppliers

About you

  • Must have experience working as a Parts Advisor or Parts Supervisor
  • Experience working within the Automotive industry
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to keep up
  • Understand the customer journey and deliver the best service possible
  • Take great care and pride in your work
  • Can handle a busy workload and deliver on promises
  • Have excellent communication skills both F2F and over the phone
