Job Title: Group Accountant
We are exclusively partnered with a rapidly expanding company that has quadrupled its revenue in the past 24 months! The company are a heavily acquisitional business, who are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with a clear vision for continued growth and success.
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Accountant to join a supportive, and busy finance team in Uxbridge. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving company and work directly alongside two qualified accountants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and GL reconciliations within a group of companies.
Ideally, you will be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA and looking to continue to progress your studies to qualify within the business. This role will offer study support, as well as sign-off opportunity to help you qualify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete Management Accounts for the group.
- Perform General Ledger (GL) Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Consolidate accounts for the group of companies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with Audit queries and yeah-end reconciliations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a group of companies.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting and GL reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using a large ERP system (SAP, D365, NetSuite etc) as well as strong Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
