Position: Voids Supervisor
Location: Covering London-wide Voids
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (8.5 hours/day)
Salary: £17.72/hr PAYE, £22.03/hr umbrella
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Voids Supervisor to join a leading housing association in London. This is a full-time, temporary position (with potential for extension) that requires a dedicated professional to oversee the voids process across various locations in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Voids Service: You will be responsible for managing a large voids service, ensuring properties are efficiently and effectively turned around for new tenants.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage trade teams, ensuring high standards of work and productivity.
- Contractor Oversight: Direct and manage subcontractors delivering both day-to-day and large-scale void works.
- DLO and Contractor Management: Oversee Direct Labour Organisations (DLO) and external contractors to ensure timely completion of voids works within budget and to a high standard.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing a large voids service is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is required, as the role involves travel across various locations in London.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with tenants, contractors, and team members.
