Up to £70,000 plus bonus

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Lead FP&A Analyst to join a vibrant finance team. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing financial performance through strategic analysis, reporting, and collaboration with various stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Consolidation & Reporting:

o Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.

o Analyse and present financial results to management, highlighting key insights and performance indicators.

Strategic Financial Planning:

o Lead the development of financial forecasts and long-term strategic plans that support the company's growth objectives.

o Create and refine financial models that assist in evaluating business initiatives and capital expenditures.

Audit Leadership:

o Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

o Develop and deliver impactful presentations for executive meetings, offering clear financial insights and recommendations.

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster best practices in financial management and improve overall financial literacy within the organisation.

Market Analysis & Insights:

o Perform market and competitor analysis to inform strategic business decisions and identify potential areas for improvement.

o Provide support to the FD in communicating financial results and strategies to leadership teams.

Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis:

o Conducts specialised financial analyses as needed to address unique business challenges and opportunities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Background in finance or accounting within a corporate environment, ideally with experience in a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, with familiarity in international financial regulations preferred.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools and financial software to analyse data effectively.
  • Proven ability in developing comprehensive financial reports and models tailored to business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building across various departments.
