Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Deeside
Hours: Monday -Friday

HR GO recruitment is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to oversee internal and external quality concerns, determine the root cause and implement robust corrective action to improve right first time and improve customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Work with all production departments to continually improve processes and products through FMEA activities.
- Generate and control procedures and work instructions to support company activities.
- Manage company audit schedules (internal quality/environmental/H&S and suppliers).
- Work closely with purchasing and suppliers through new product introduction.
- Work independently with some travel required (both national and international).
- Identify quality trends and drive cross-departmental improvement projects, present findings to Directors and Management teams.
- Discover and introduce improvement initiatives across the company.
- Support supplier and customer ISIR/PPAR documentation.
- Ensure continued conformity to current ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
- Uses of 8D methodology problem-solving to resolve supplier, internal and customer concerns.
- Goods inwards and shop floor inspections.
- Maintain and improve the quality of key performance indicators.
- Contribute to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people across the business.
- Support and assist with quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to company efforts toward IATF 16949 certification.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working within an assembly and production manufacturing environment - essential.
- Quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA) trained -
- Internal & external auditing -
- Supplier development -
- ISO 14001 environmental management system experience -
- H&S management system experience - desirable.
- TS/IATF 16949 management system experience -
