Our client, a leading manufacturer in it's field seeks an Import Logistics Coordinator for their site in Denham, Uxbridge.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Import Operations:
- Coordinate Imports, Sourcing, Repairs and Return Material Authorization.
- Collaborate with all necessary stakeholders, including carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize the importation process.
Customs Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
- Control the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and other relevant paperwork.
- Work closely with import brokers to resolve any issues and ensure compliance with import regulations.
Documentation and Record keeping:
- Organize and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible for auditing purposes.
- Verify and review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
Communication and Collaboration :
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless flow of information.
- Communicate proactively with external partners to resolve issues and optimize the supply chain process.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Seasoned experience in the international transportation or logistics industry and IPR (Inward Processing Relief) process knowledge.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office products.
- Experience of using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems experience would be beneficial (can be trained).
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.
This is a full-time site based at our client site in Denham offering;
- Salary up to £40,000
- Half day on Fridays
