Our Wills, Trusts & Probate team provides expert legal services to individuals and families, assisting with a wide range of private client matters. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored, compassionate legal advice in areas including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Planning, and Elderly Client Advice. Due to the expansion of our team, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Private Client Solicitor (NQ+) to join our growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts, ensuring they meet clients' personal and financial needs.
- Advise clients on complex probate and estate administration, including both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Assist with Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, advising on tax-efficient strategies for estate planning.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients in the Court of Protection, including the appointment of deputies and managing affairs for those who lack capacity.
- Support the elderly client team, offering guidance on issues such as care home fees, capacity, and safeguarding.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering clear, practical, and empathetic advice.
- Manage your own caseload and work closely with senior colleagues, ensuring high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with business development activities, including networking, marketing initiatives, and building client relationships.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant legal developments in private client law.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ or with 1+ years PQE) with experience or a strong interest in private client work.
- Sound knowledge of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate Administration, Inheritance Tax, and Elderly Client Advice.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop trust with clients.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive approach to business development and client relationships.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically when dealing with complex legal matters.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients, particularly in sensitive and personal matters.
