An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, professional Senior Construction Project Manager to join a market leading, Global Construction Consultancy in Sheffield.
The Senior Construction Project Manager Role
The incoming Senior Construction Project Manager will join a dynamic team of 15 project managers working on a broad range of projects - with a particular speciality for the Public and Education sectors currently - managing projects from £1m - £15m+
The firm is also looking at diversifying into various other sectors, actively targeting new markets as we speak, including Commercial / Office and Fit Out, so there is plenty of scope moving forward for exciting new schemes and project diversity.
The successful Senior Construction Project Manager will benefit from a highly flexible working environment, typically joining the team in the office 2x days a week (or more if desired), taking lead on multiple interesting projects and running them to completion.
Long-term, the new Senior Construction Project Manager will have ample opportunities for career progression, with a clear path to an Associate position. You will also have the chance to mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and diversifying the teams project portfolios in line with your interests.
The Senior Construction Project Manager
You will be hands-on, client facing and capable of working both independently (due to the flexible nature of the role) and a part of the wider team. Alongside this, you will have:
- Previous Project Management experience in the Construction industry
- Previous Project Management experience within a UK Consultancy firm
- A RICS Accredited degree qualification is highly desirable
- Accredited by RICS, APM or CIOB - or committed to achieving
- A successful track record managing projects from inception to completion through all RIBA stages
