This firm offers a wide range of accountancy, audit and taxation services providing a professional, personal and effective service to clients.
Your new role
As Account Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts for a range of clients including SME businesses, partnerships and sole traders. You will prepare corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and personal self-assessment income tax returns. You will support in the processing of payroll and also liaise with clients and HMRC. You will work on a range of software including Iris, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in the preparation of accounts for a range of clients from differing industries as well as experience working with software, specifically Iris, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. You will ideally be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience or knowledge. Organisational skills and ability to manage your time independently will make you an excellent candidate for this role. You will also need good interpersonal skills and communication.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £23,000 and £25,000 dependent on experience.
