Harvey John have partnered with a friendly accountancy practice who are looking for a capable Client & Practice Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role that will support the Directors in looking after a portfolio of small and medium sized businesses, whilst also taking an active involvement in the day-to-day running of the practice.

A detailed job description is available on request, however key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Day-to-day practice management
  • Workflow planning
  • Billing & WIP management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Client relationship management
  • Financial statements, tax compliance and management accounting for a portfolio of clients
  • Developing and supervising the junior team, including reviewing their work

To succeed in this role, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience in team management, involvement in practice management responsibilities, workflow planning and strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting for small and medium-sized businesses.
