Role Overview:
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support professional to take on a 2nd line role, in which you will gain knowledge and expertise in all aspects of managed IT & infrastructure, inlcuding Azure & Office 365, VMware, networking setup, and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support to clients via the service desk, resolving IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Administer and support, and manage Office 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Servers, and Active Directory
- Troublehsoot and resolve issues with Wi-Fi access points, switches, VPNs, and other networking infrastrucutre
- Support users with issues in Outlook, SharePoint, Teams
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage and monitor client IT infrastructure, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, solutions, and client interactions.
Skills Required:
- A minimum of three years' IT support experience in a similiar environment
- Windows OS & Server
- Hardware - Laptops, tablets, PCs
- Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure AD
- Troubleshooting network issues, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls and switches.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
