Multichannel Marketing Manager - Retail FTC - St James Quarter

Purpose of the Role

The Multichannel Marketing Manager's role involves campaign implementation across a wide range of channels - from tactical planning right through to the delivery and implementation as well as PR, media, digital & social media and events The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent planning skills, with the ability to drive experiential excellence. This is an all-encompassing role which requires a self-motivated, passionate person who can take a hands-on, collaborative approach to all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of an annual marketing calendar of events, campaigns, and promotions for St James Quarter's retail brands
  • Planning and delivery of ‘Hero' events within the period
  • Reporting of footfall and marketing activity to senior team, tenants, and stakeholders, ensuring all campaigns have an agreed ROI and all campaigns are followed up with a full end of campaign evaluation.
  • Ensuring all marketing campaign aligns with the agreed target audiences.
  • Manage local marketing budget.
  • Liaison with all tenants at both local and head office level to engage them fully when planning all marketing activity. Marketing campaigns to be focused on driving sales and footfall and generating ROI for both tenants and the client.
  • Management of external agencies in line with budgets and key performance indicators
  • Preparation of monthly reports.
  • Attend internal management meetings and other meetings as pertinent to role.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Excellent experience in project management, marketing, creative/brand, PR and media.
  • A proven track record in the generation of media coverage across all mediums.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal departments, agency partners, customers and third parties.
  • A proven ability of managing agencies and the ability to work across multi-agency briefs.
  • Ability to create exciting campaigns that will drive footfall, awareness, sales and enhance dwell time to the scheme.
  • Ability to use full range of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working patterns in order to respond to the demands of a retail and leisure environment.
  • Experienced in controlling budgets.

Working Hours - 9am to 6pm – Monday to Friday. Due to the number of events weekend working will be expected. This is a FTC for maternity cover.

Salary - Up to £40,000 dependent on experience
